Parisian flower shops are just that, flowers flowers and more flowers. Most times crammed into small shops that spiil out into the street all weathers but utterly romantic and luxuriant .In Winter in January they are vocative, filled with Paeonies and perfumed spring flowers ,while the window displays were difficult to tear ones self away from.We think a visit to Paris has to include the Branly Museum, designed by architect Jean Nouvel not only for the sense of scale and in comparison to the jewel box florist shops we look at but to take a walk along th Seine and cross the river to see Patrick Le Blanc's plant wall or vertical garden with its 15.000 plants and then to walk through the horizontal Gardens within the complex by Gilles Clement . The museum is a marvel of three professional Masters working side by side to such brlliant ends. Here the two gardens meet on an avenue corner with the iconic Eiffel Tower soaring right behind .
